Money's Mournings

Some people say that I am even sweeter than honey or than sugar. However, I share no such responsibility with any of them. As far as my knowledge is concerned, I am meant for the means of exchange only. Am I, therefore, supposed to act ill? People use me for fulfilling their foul motives like bribery, dowry, ransom and so on and so forth. Then, where does my flaw lie in this regard? Tears become my sole companion through and through.

The more the days go by, the more defamed I have to become, not because of my fault but for the people's avarice. Yes, it is quite evident that money is amoral. Actually, the love for money turns a person immoral. The yearning for wealth is the root of everything evil.

Nevertheless, the only ambrosia that keeps me still going is that the deserving winners are awarded with prize money in various fields sometimes. Candidly confessing, that is my sole sigh of relief. Definitely, there is still some hope to keep us all going. That is to say, there has to be some sort of silver linings. In this regard, I acknowledge that everyone owns some kind of dormant power within. Why not let it out and flourish?
