The Resentment of a Marine Mind

There may be diversity; there may be disharmony all around the globe. However, everyone must acknowledge that I am an authentic epitome of unity or harmony. I feel so confident to be composed of little drops of water indeed. Yet, people do call me ‘brackish’, but I wonder how they can forget so easily that it is I who is the primary source of all kinds of salt. Broadly speaking, salt brings the actual taste to each cuisine. Living under the azure canopy, I roll my ripples time and again. I have to remain an eyewitness of people’s family and love. They bathe in the foamy waves; they make love in front of me; they spend amorous moments all together. But how can I forget my celibacy? Whenever I witness such moments of love belonging to the others, I can’t hold myself back from feeling so lonely full of constant commotion that is spoken out through my roaring and restless ripples. I convert an ordinary place to a magnificent tourist spot. I sometimes laugh at myself silently. Why? That is so because of my loneliness. How painful my life is! I can only provide lots of gaiety to the others, but never am I given anything at all as a gift. When the sun goes down, when the tourists are about to leave the place, I feel more pricked. Yes, they add insult to my injury again and again. Sometimes, I get so annoyed and so infuriated that I become monstrous, heartless, harmful and disastrous. Well, I have to be so; resulting in, I take the guise of tsunami.

Words from the Mild Mountain

It is commonly said that I am of a very grave and sombre nature, but how can this be accepted when everyone acknowledges that I echo every word? People were, they are, and they will be there to defame whoever they want. Although they are taught that they ought to get themselves rectified time and again, they never receive the lessons. They never desire to learn anything patiently. However, it feels a bit relieving to me that there are a few exceptional people who do just the opposite to the common people. Consequently, they have to become cornered by the so-called human society. Anyway, optimistically speaking, I do love resonating to the words that are born out of pure reverence and true love for me. I, too, am a part of Nature. Lots and lots of tourists come to visit me every day. I sometimes am adorned with waterfalls that glide down the valleys. Well, I am resolute enough to live in peace, because, regardless of what people think of me or speak about me, I still remain unperturbed always with a happy smile that can be visible only to those who love me and try to hear my voice. Moreover, the white snow, when it comes to meet the dazzling sunlight, feels me up with tender emotions. I smile, I shine and I sing the songs of life.
